The discursive nature of modern science: philosophical understanding

The article attempts to find out the patterns of adequate discursive interpreta-tion science in conditions social turbulence. For this, based on socio-communicative methodology, author makes sense relationship between and philosophy, also characterizes state modern scientific debate about domestic foreign discourse such fields as understanding tasks post-nonclassical (O. Polishchuk, I. Do-bronravova, G. Haken), possibilities reality transformation by means techno-science (H. Bashlyar, B. Latour, V. Maryniuk, Melnyk), risks post-academic development (J. Ziman, O. Kuz, Cheshko), modes/types (M. Gibbons, H. Novotny, S. Limoges, L. Ryzhko). main result study is author's definition strengths weaknesses a socially turbu-lent space. Among its strengths, attributes properties increased attention applied problems, higher degree self-organization, multitasking at different levels within types relation-ships, communicativeness. are losing fundamentality, disciplinary boundaries, which accompanied loss clarity methodology criteria success, well risk replac-ing truth with non-academic success criteria, economic suc-cess science, political correctness, etc. It concluded that situation global transformations uncertainty humanity currently experiencing, new characteristics developing, help understand dangers moving away from traditional academicism.
